Chicago-based all-news Internet app radio station Rivet News Radio continues to add more content partners. As previously mentioned here, HearHere Radio, Inc., the parent company of Rivet News Radio, entered into a content partnership with WBEZ-FM to broadcast episodes of “Worldview,” as well as the recent additions of news reports from the AP and Crain’s Chicago Business. Today, HearHere Radio, Inc. announced a content partnership with the Chicago Sun-Times, allowing Rivet News Radio to feature news reports from the newspaper. Even more content partnerships for Rivet News Radio are expected to be announced soon. For now, Rivet News Radio is only available for iOS phones/tablets, and not yet for the more popular Android mobile operating system. That app is expected to launch later this year.
